Charles and Cody reviews...
« on: December 15, 2004, 08:44:00 PM »

I've finished reading both Homebuilt Stabilizer...stabilizing a dream and Building a Stabilizer Arm. Both an excellent read.

Building a Stabilizer Arm

by Cody Deegan

Cody Deegan has done it again! Yet another set of insightful, detailed plans and instructions. Excellent design with room for personal flair and innovation. The fact that the finished arm also integrates with the vest and sled from the wonderful Camera Stabilizer Plans is a pleasant bonus. If you own Camera Stabilizer Plans and are ready for the next step, I highly recommend Building a Stabilizer Arm.

Homebuilt Stabilizer...stabilizing a dream

by Charles King

Definitely a "must have" for any beginning stabilizer builder. Chock full of knowledge gained in the trenches of the homebuilt stabilizer arena. Gobs of pictures of not his own rig but also of other rigs in the HBS community. Plenty of commentary on the pieces and process of building his stabilizer. The additional sections concerning pro rigs adds insight and inspiration to get one off the couch and into the workshop to start creating one of these magical devices.
