Not sure--have a few possibilities but they are all after the New Year. I've turned down a couple of TV shows that are starting up now (mid-season replacements) so I can focus on some other projects. One of the shows I decided not to go on is called "Raines" (I worked on the pilot) which will air on NBC in the next few months--there's a pretty lengthy trailer up here with a fair amount of Steadicam in it. We were going for an early 70's Altman-esque look, so there was LOTS of slow zooming going on. Did quite a bit of zooming on the Steadicam too (the DP used a remote Preston zoom control from the monitor). Should be a good show, Jeff Goldblum is great to watch.

Thanks for the answer, CP! (I was so sure about the projector... ) ""Building" a house was a fascinating venture--often terribly frustrating and stressful, but also incredibly satisfying " - you're 100% right. we started from the ground and we're half way... (I'll add two pics, 11 months apart). It's an interesting venture, indeed.

Fantastic Cosmin! I love the roofline, really funky (and that triangular window). Nice twist on a classic design.

The design show episode with Charles Papert aired again today on HGTV. It was kind of neat. My wife watches that channel all the time so she can give me jobs to do around the house that I don't want to do.

Hey Mike, Ah, HGTV, my brother and sister-in-law were on a segment called "Out on a Limb". They built a treehouse, it was featured in Architectural Digest.. on Good Morning America... etc here is a link to the HGTV segment if anyone wants to check it out http://idisk.mac.com/jaked/Public/P&H_treehouse_Out_on_a_limb_segment.mp4sorry if this is off topic but I think you'll find it interesting none the less ! p.s. My brother and his wife watch Television very little but happen to watch Scrubs more often than anything on the Tube. Of course I am quick to tell them about Charles Paperts steadicam work. hmmm.... this is one of those six degrees of separation moments..... , lets see Scrubs ,Steadicams, Charles Papert, Mike Mann, HGTV, my bro :-) cheers, Jake

Jake,
That was neat! It would be nice to have something like that. We grow up too fast, but would re-awaken the child in you. Thanks for the video. Beautiful area up there in the Northwest.
