I have a steadicam flyer II and the buckles on the vest are plastic and they make a lot of squeaking noises now. Is there a version of WD-40 for plastic I can use, or will that void the warranty. Anybody else have the same problem ?
Search around for a Teflon based lubricant, those shouldn't harm your plastic at all. You could always use a spare backpack buckle as a sacrifice just to be sure.
Thanks guys, will give it a shot. The whole thing squeaks, since there are a lot of plastic parts on that vest unfortunatly. Hey, what can you expect for $8000
