Offering for sale the arm I built using drawbar springs that has iso-elastic properties. . There is about 650 dollars in machining plus springs, hardware, etc. Since I'm building a new arm, I thought someone might like an arm to experiment with. It would be a good idea to have the rear bones made thicker, but the front section operates exactly as it should. If I was going to continue on with it, I'd convert it to a 2 spring arm or change the drawbar springs. I've lost the arm cover straps for the rear section, but that is a cheap fix. It will hold a 10-12 lb sled and camera, as I recall. I'll keep it up for a week and any offer will be considered. You can reply here or PM me. Shipping cost will depend on location.
Phil, that is some exceptional work...when i first saw the pic of the arm i immediately eye scanned for a mfr name branding...i am no machinist but i suspect that through interactions with this awesome board i may eventually online apprentice into one...
