Ha Ha. now this I like. Smiley Are you remotely controlling the fan speed? What would work even better is having a fan that is bi-directional and dimmer control to control the speed of the fan. this way you can control how fast you want the dolly to move. I can see this idea being used in particular scenes. Nicely done.

It is necessary to take care of the vibrations. The fan must be very well balanced. I put it only to show how smooth is the dolly, but yes I tried it and transmited some vibrations.
