Hi Charles, what's news about the dual mount?

Hi. I have not forgotten just that when I made the changes the machinist had already programed the parts and were in the process of being cut. So he did not have time to make any changes. I have to make a new batch  to go together with other components so as not to make the work more costly. I can't just give him one component to cut. He has to have many so the down time would be worth it. Wink

I putting together another set of components to send off to him. Just had to shell out $600 to make the brackets and vest/spar parts...

Ok, I understand.
For now I'm using an homebuilt mount plate for my battery so don't worry, I'm not in hurry to have your one.
Take the necessary time and let me know when it's ready Wink

Ok. I was curious because I wanted to have a rounded figure to see how thick I should make the plate. 4mm eh? That means a 9 or 10mm plate should work well. I assume the screws are short.

Here is a pic of someone that purchased the vest components from me. He was happy with the parts.

Did they make the straps and padding, or were those taken from another type of vest?  It looks like the shoulder padding has slots for straps to go through, which aren't necessary anymore due to the plastic backpack clips that were added.

Yes, the leather back straps were use in another design before he bought the parts from me. If you need any other info about that you can check out his thread in the 'Modifying commercial Systems' forum under 'Moding the Basson 500 Arm' thread.
