wrap grip
« on: July 05, 2009, 06:15:31 PM »

I have been searching high and low for a knurled 2-piece wrap grip that will fit an EFP gimbal.  If anyone knows of a possible source, please let me know.  I've tried GPI (no answer yet) and MK-V (too expensive).

Unfortunately I was not able to find the ones I had seen. Have you gotten an answer from GPI yet?

Not yet, but I did get one from Hugo at Rig Enginnering in which he said he didn't have any, but he thought it was a good idea and may make some in the near future.

Hugo isn't making them, just an idea for the future.  Had an answer from GPI and it sounds like they have one that will work.  With their sale discount should be about 200 dollars--expensive, but as I said before, sometimes you have to treat yourself to the best. Wink

Phil do you have a picture of the grip; what material is it made from?  Larry
