Your Most used Film equipment at your disposal?
« on: September 22, 2008, 04:41:42 AM »

Curious to know how much or how often you guys use your HB equipment that you have built. Would rather it being homebuilt but if you do use commercial systems then please specify it in a post here. Thanks.

My homebuilt rigs are the steadicam and a skateboard dolly. Of course the steadicam is the most used (i just got a new piece to attach the docking stage to a speaker tripod, and i'm waiting for a custom hard case) just because is around for 3 years and the skater dolly is only one year old.  But i love it and i'll use it at every opportunity. Is so quick that in two minutes or less you're ready to shoot; the only downside is that the rails are short (2 mt of travel).

Stabilizers seems to be in the lead so far. Keep it coming guys. These statics may help or not but it is intersting to know what film HB equipment is being used.
