Greetings all. Well, as I mentioned in my intro in the new members area, given my budget constraints, I decided to take a chance and purchase the latest in Indian stabilizer technology; the: Wiz-Bang-Sure-Hope-It-Works-As-Good-As-It-Looks "Indicator Magic Arm & Vest With Flycam 6000" I just made the purchase yesterday and decided to keep everyone up to date on the purchase process and eventual review of the item. So far so good; after making a paypal payment, I did at least receive confirmation from the seller that they received payment and are processing my order.
I know this isn't a "review", yet; but if all goes well it will be. Stay tuned for more news.

Just a progress update. Received an e-mail from the seller in India. They informed me that they would ship on Monday (today).
So far so good; at least they are responsive to e-mail and seem to be taking care of business.

Great to hear that. I always thought it was always important to keep up and good point of interest with any customer, new or old. It shows they care. I hope it continues after you get it.

Michael,
Are you in the US? I have watched these India sellers for a good while and waiting on some more reviews.

Hey Dennis, I'm in Los Angeles.
Update to the Indian Purchase. I'm surprised at the responsiveness of their e-mail replies they are pretty good at returning e-mail. The latest is: my rig supposedly shipped on 9/25 and they did provide a tracking number for the company that will ship into the U.S. and it appears that once in the U.S. DHL will make the actual delivery to my home. The seller said it would take about 4 business days to get to me; I'm a bit skeptical about that but I suppose it's possible. This is business day 2 so we'll see what happens.

Looking forward to it. Please try a nd do an indepth review, so we can really know th eins and outs of this system. There are little or none real good reviews out there and I want HBS to offer such reviews to the masses. Thanks.

Just a quick update on the India shipment. The rig landed in New York on 9/29 and was delivered to my home today. 4-days from New York to Los Angeles via DHL ground it not bad. And only 5-days from India to New York; (their e-mail to me said approximately 4-days to get to the U.S. not my house); can't complain about that. Total time from date of order to delivery to my house, 14-days; not bad considering it went from India to New York to Los Angels. As I'm at work now I'll have to be patient for another 2-hours, 44-mins. To get my hands on it. I'll take pic of the whole process from opening to testing. I will post a review once I'm done in the reviews area.
So, stand-by,
Michael

I noticed they are giving you a soft case with cutout foam. Did you get this? Would have been nice if it had been aluminum, I know more money.

Well, my rig arrived Friday as promissed. I took some pic of the packaging it was delivered in so I'll post those in the review section once I get my write up done. I think I'll do two reviews, one for detailed impressions of the rig and then one later for performance.
Yes, the rig did come in the foam cutout nylon case not great but not bad. I've heard of these rigs coming just wrapped in bubble wrap and put into a box.
