New Guy New Rig
« on: September 18, 2008, 02:50:35 PM »

Greetings all! I’m extremely new to the world of stabilizers and was ecstatic to find this site. I’ve been away from the video business for a while but have recently rekindled the passion shooting video for my church. I have slowly been re-acquiring equipment as budget and time allows. I have always wanted a body stabilizer but just assumed they were well out of my budget. I have stumbled across one of the body stabilizers from India; specifically the “Indicator Magic Arm & Vest with Flycam 6000.” After much reading and research and budgeting, I decided to take a chance and make the purchase. (On a side note I was able to haggle down the price and got a $200.00 discount). Once I get the rig I’ll post a review with my limited knowledge of how these things work so I don’t know if that will be much help to anyone but the more info the better. Anyway thanks to everyone here for all the info and insight.

Charles, I wish I could say someone referred me but to be honest, I found your site while researching stabilizers.

Do you happen to know Kenji Luster?
