manfrotto monopod size

Hello everyone,

it is suggested that manfrotto monopod model 679b should be used in the design. But I couldn't find that model in the stores. While searching on the net, I found out that manfrotto 558B model has similar leg tube diameters (29.4 mm) but some other specifications do not match.

Could I use that also? Have anyone tried it?

What are the other specs of the 558B model that do not match?
