hey!
thanks for that, im glad u got it to work!!!
i balanced my 3000 with a longer post up last night with a Sony HVRA1U, i had a drop time of 2 seconds, even the dynamic balance was good when i span it slowly which i was happy about, and it was really easy to do, the mounting points on the camera were no where near the CG for the camera too...

I then balanced my 35mm + hv20 + rails, matte box etc.. which i weighed now and its 2.8kg, i used all the weights which was 5 washers each side, on the outer most points, same length pole and worked a treat. (shame i cant hold it for long)

be nice to see your footage.

im using mine with the Sony HVRA1U for a walkthrough up an aisle of a church tommorow so i will post up some footage when i get it off the camera.
