I'm still trying to figure out what the girl has to do with rig. I am tired and hate when manufacturers are trying to sell their product by exploiting sex. Just because there is a girl in the clip will not tempt me to buy the damn thing.
On the whole, I like the twist release, no tool, gimbal adjustment. The vest looks interesting. The arm is something I am reserved about. The last time I tried it it did not leave me with any wows or oooo's. Hopefully they have made some improvements.

You're right, in fact it is even a bit stupid using a sort of sex sell thru thing But the system still looks nice, on the Steadicamforum i responded to a question about the rig. I have tried it several times, the main ' bad ' thing remains the connection from arm on vest. It is almost impossible to mount the arm yourself because the socketblock is way at the back / side, so you use your both arms at a almost impossible angle.. If people are interested in some more in use Sachtler Rigs, check : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ry4zmHa4fhkErik

Not a bad looking rig. I had a class in college once about advertising and logic. There was a best selling cigarette called Kool. We all know what Cool means and it was exploited with beautiful women smoking Kool cigs. Better get some some you can score the chicks! When I first got my JR and was doing things on campus, girls would be really interested in it. We would go have a beer later and after the second one, they would go home with someone else. Maybe I should have smoked some Kools.

That's not how to wear a backmount.
The shoulder straps should be comfortably snug. Stops the harness from slipping down, and helps to keep it from shifting around.
I hate misinformation. You shouldn't be representing a product if you don't know how to use it.

Even though I'm new to stabilizers, I do have some engineering knowledge and I too can obviously agree that the vest was not worn properly and the whole demo was not executed very well. One would think a company like Sachtler would have pre-planned demos of their equipment. The video with the girls was just strange...

Strange? I think it was all part of the plan to distract the viewer?
