Hello from Washington D.C.
« on: May 28, 2008, 08:33:09 PM »

My name is Dennis and I am a pro still photographer from the greater D.C. area.  I have a very STRONG interest in shooting video.  I feel a bit stagnant in the still part of imaging and thought motion may breathe a bit creativity back into my soul! I purchased a Canon HV30 and I love it!  I will now lurk and learn as well as ask and absorb!  I feel that a "cam steadier" (as opposed to the patented "Steadicam") will be a good tool for my bag, and I think that I can fashion one successfully for a fraction of the "real ones"  so here I am!  Oh yeah I just picked-up a LevelCam from eBay for $18 USD to get started.

Cheers!
Dennis
