Dont know if Thanh is still looking at rigs at the moment.. but yesterday i did a corporate with the Sony PDW-530P XDCAM Camera. With a really nice wide angle lens at front and removing several 'im'portant parts like mic, viewfinder i got a really nice setup :

Smooth like butter and 5.5 hours running at front and behind a runner without problems (except for the weather, liters of sweat.. etc etc )

Pic of setup attached :

Best, Erik

Pffff.. still tired when i looking at the picture. And yes, enough weight reserve left to mount a little videotransmitter and / or mic receivers.
The LE will have another 4 lbs extra left, so this setup with also a remote focus motor and receiver on this should keep everything nice and complete.

I rest my case.., best to all

Erik

Its zoom only, no idea why its on there, as zooming without ff means out of focus, or just a little zoom, not the whole range.
I just want to ad that max out a rig isnt that a good idea, its not made for heavy setups, sure it can handle it, but its not made for it, and you dont want to smash your expensice camera on the floor.

Ofcourse you are right Job but this setup wasn't max'ed out. It was still within the weightrange of the Flyer, easy under the 15 lbs. Also i used a 1 heavy and 1 less heavy battery which was another 1 lbs saved at least. The zoom control was still there because i used it a bit, during a ending part of the shoot, it did create some nice in/out focus shots in the woods. The director liked it, and if she liked it, i like it too..  Cheesy
