Topic: used stabilizer for sale (Read 1473 times)

Hello, I've decided to buy a proffessional stabilizer from Tiffen to operate with so my old stabilizer is for sale. It is a dual arm system with two springs on each post, it has a backmount vest, without socketblock and with springs I have in the arms, it is best for cameras with minimal weight 8 kg. Otherwise it have to be used additional weight (I used them a lot, because I'm not a technician guy who is able to change springs and to stuff like this...  ). This system also has a 7" TFT color monitor, which is powered by 7,5Ah Pb battery. Monitor has an analog, cinch and S-Video inputs. I'll post photos when I'll charge my camera... so, recapitulation: 1x backmount vest without socketblock 1x dual arm 2spring on each post 1x sled with mounts for monitor battery and unversal mount for cameras 1x 7" color TFT monitor 2x Pb 7,5Ah battery manual and some accessories for adjusting the system Price: $1200 + shipping (worldwide) Price w/o monitor: $800 + shipping Waiting for your offers... |

I haven't decided yet. I'm thinking about Flyer and Archer, but before I decide, I definitely want to go to some of theirs workshops... Till the workshop, I'm going to work with lended systems...

This one is from India. It the Magiccam they only sell $1300 USD on ebay and they are hardly sell any if you want 1900 ERU that about $2800 it a lot, well like Chales said "good luck".

You're right, it is from india, but I was forced to do some upgrades to their system. Primary I had to strengthen the vest on the back, it has a habitude to bend, secondary I covered bottom part of the sled and tercially I added some more threads, changed some and painted gimbal and removed the old sticks so the stabilizer looks a little bit more proffessional. I also added a 7" color TFT monitor and two batteries, so price little bit increased. But, you're right. My original price was a quite too increased... (I'm sorry, but I so wanted to have enough money to buy a Tiffen system as soon as possible, that I couldn't hold myself...  ) So, lets change the price... What about 1200$. Do you think this price is OK? |

The price seem fair to me. The cost of a brandnew one is about the same but with this one they will get your upgrade and your extra work for free. I love to buy your system to fun for your new system but i'm not into those india cheap stuff. If you have a glidecam i'm might but this stuff are made of steel and it heavy look at the yoke and the handle they just bend it not cnc cut. so good luck with your sell man these are just my opion sorry if i crossed you anything.

Just wanted to give you my 2 cents worth. I do not think he will sell the vest alone. A complete stabilizer unit always sells asa whole and not in pieces, especially a unit that is specially made to work with one particular type of built stabilizer... Just my thought. |
