Steadicam Archer Base and Battery Plate NEW PICTURES
« on: November 29, 2007, 06:30:28 PM »

So I have my new mk-v and I’m selling off some random old odds and sods...

I have the Tiffen Steadicam Archer base section for sale.  Includes the main Carbon fiber / Ally body, the monitor yoke (no monitor) and the sliding battery bars.  No battery plates are included, and I’ve nicked the bubble off it too.  It's ready and waiting to have some new wiring put through it, and for you to attach your battery plates and monitor.  Also 4 x screw holes ready for you to mount your post onto.

Also for any Archer owners, a custom battery plate that mounts onto the bars at the bottom of the Archer.  This is professionally machined and anodized, and adds additional weight to the system (when you attach your battery and battery plate) and allows you to fly heavier cameras.  Originally designed for use with PAG battery plates, but I’m sure with some tweaking, it could fit others.

Open to offers for both, I’m not expecting much, so you may be in for a bargain, just let me know...

If I get any interest, I shall post some pics.

Cheers,

Rick.

Hi Rick, I just got an Archer myself, really enjoying it. Do you have any photos of the battery rod weight/battery plate?

@ Charles.

I'm good mate thankyou.  Works been picking up alot, so I took action.  I remember we talked about the base at IBC.  The Evo is nice, very solid.

@ Alan.

Take a look at the gallery on my website, there are a few good shots of it.  Gives you an idea of the plate, and what it can help you fly...  Really makes the Acher into a useable every-day system.
Let me know if you need any more...

*bump*

I had some interest, but it's fizzled away.

Looking at only a few hundred quid for the base...

Let me know.

Nothing so extravagant.  It's just taking up room here, I'm sure it would be better at a new home.

£350 maybe?  I don't really know what it's worth...  I guess whatever it's worth to whoever may want to buy it.

Very open to silly offers, as I say, it's taking up room...

I see you've cut the cable too short...is there a way to replace them?
