Ooooh!!! now that's a tough one. It's an obsolete system. May I ask why you're interested in that design? It is really wasn't a great system, the arm that is. My personal view.

...then it would be easy to rent the system again and take measurements of the part you want.

If I remember correctly, the diameter of the Mini armpost and gimbal is 10mm. But I would strongly recommend measuring the actual item as CK points out before you have your extended posts made. My memory is based on jerry-rigging a Mini sled onto my PRO arm at a workshop 7 years ago. Attached are some pix of same--the camera is the SL Cine modification of the Arri 2c, a 5lb 35mm camera. The right picture shows Garrett's prototype Flyer arm which he had just finished--amazing how long ago that was, and how long it took for the production model to come out.
For what it's worth, I personally use the following lengths of arm post: 6", 9", 12", 15" as well as a J bracket for low high mode that allows the other posts to be swapped in as needed so I can drop the gimbal up to 12" lower.
Make sure that if you make a longer post, it should be solid or near-solid stock, especially with the slim dimension in use here. Anything over 9" I would recommend using steel rather than aluminum.
