HI Eran. I haven't tried this system yet. I'll probably will at the next IBC, if they show up. I see they are using a similar approach to what the AR does. That should be interesting to try out.

Hey Charles: it looks like a nice system and i'm looking for to buy their b.m vest, I spoke with actioncam company and they sims like they standing behind their product . they told me I'll be able to return it back if I don't like it. So I'll probably start with the b.m and then move for the all system if it will be o.k

just the b.m for my v25 for now. I'm not sure why glidecam came up with some kind of a weird socked block for the v25. now it is complicated to find an adapter to the v25 arm!

Remember I mentioned at the workshop last year and in the V25 review that you can order a socket block adapter for the v25? Just call Glidecam and ask them for the socket block. Just tell them you need it. Say Charles King recommended that you call them.

OMG Dude, Dont buy a system becose it " looks" cool. TRY BEFORE YOU BUY. Not everybody is made for the BM, and lots of ops are selling there actioncam vest to get the real deal BM Vest. Its about a grand more expensive, but made for your body. What about moving to the action system? How about making some more flying hours, and wait untill the NAB, or IBC. Go there, try everything there is and go home with the feeling you can stick with your system for the next 12 month

Hey Job: how are you doing my friend? first I'm not moving to any new system yet, I will wait for the next ibc or the next show to fill all the other systems around. Second , the b.m of actioncam is around $4500 and the Klassen is ~$6600 ,so that's about $2k dif. and actioncam has a return policy of 10 days if I don't like their b.m with a full money back warranty . This is the reason i'm willing to try it . hope it will work good for me cause I'm taking long shots on music shows and on t.v. What about yourself Job? how is the new system (nexus) and did you recieve the new scanner yet? Eran

Aloha Fellas,
Brian the owner of Actioncam has been making systems for a long time. He has been called on to make a custom system that would support 100 pounds one time! by a Japanese film maker. He did it and they were really stoked on the product. I know your thinking how the hell could you maintain 100 pounds of gear... and why!
He is known for his innovative ideas. The guy is super creative. If you can find some images of his new arm you will see it has a few (6?) springs in it. I personal loved his last (tension) arm... however it did have a spring-E feel to it.
His back mount vest in my opinion looks incredibly well done and has a very streamline look. I'm really excited for you to get the vest!
I really hope you find the block to make it work. Hey did you ask Brian? He might just make you one.
Aloha, Frederick

Eran, the socket block Trung, not Trank, is talking about is not what I was talking about. Please read my review again. You will see a pic of the adapter I am talking about. I agree with Job. Just go to one of these trade shows and try it first. Not all BM are made to fit every person exactly. That is on of the trickiest thing about BM. That's why the most expensive ones cost what they cost. They are made to fit. So try before you buy.

but why did they made such a socket block ? what is the main reason for it? why couldn't they make a regular socket block ? maybe it had something to do with the arm that requierd such a block?

is the male socket block from Marcello ( http://hbsboard.com/index.php/topic,119.msg9668.html#msg9668 ) not the the standard male socket pin? i heard from Cody it''s the standard male socket block. I think if Eran buy the vest from Actioncam, he should order the male socket pin from ACtioncam. Cause the male socket pin from them will 100% match with their socket block from the vest. 0.05mm also make different
