need help! got an lcd monitor but dont know which batteries to use

Hello everyone. I just bought a 7" lcd mini tv (proline arrow) that has a 12V AC adaptor. I don't know a much
about electricity and i need some help. I would be gratefull if someone told me what batteries to use...

Any 12v dc battery should be ok.

i.e. 12v car battery
