Where to get THIN LANC cables???
« on: March 14, 2007, 04:47:20 PM »

Hey all,

I have an arm and vest stabilizer and am trying to use a LANC controller mounted on the handle. However, the LANC cable is not very thin and so it introduces some force on the sled due to it trying to keep its shape.

Does anyone know where to get an ultra-thin LANC cable that doesn't introduce much force to the system?

Thanks!
Peter

not sure how your wires are set up, but couldnt you just give more slack to the lanc cables and zip tie or grip tape them in place?

Jim Bartell makes custom wires for some focus/zoom gear, but I'm not sure which brands (LANC for Sony or the other kind for Canon/Panasonic, I think).
