EMT pipe

In codys plans, there is something called a curved emt-pipe,
Anybody that knows what these things are called in europe, or more specifically sweden`?
Are they easily accesible?

There are many here who would know. Seeing that you live in Sweden there are people who have built Cody's sled with the parts mentioned. Mike and Rickard are some of them. I'll let them know so they can respond to your post.

EMT pipe is actually electrical conduit, thin walled metal tubing that you can bend with a conduit bender.

Yes Charles, that would be great, As I don't quite know if a can apply the tools and materials used in the imperial plan. I would really like to know how these guys did it and if they used exactly the mentioned materials or if they found useable substitutes in metric.

Verdan,
I found a piece of pipe which was exactly what I wanted..I took it from a document holder device which was sold as a computer accesory...you know the kind of thing a clamp,an arm and a flat A4 sized board.The thing was it was exactly the right size I didnt have to anything except saw a bit off. The bore of the pipe was exactly right for the bearings.At the lower end of the pipe I made a bronze bearing which was totally unnecessary and the whole thing is a bit on the heavy side.But you learn as you go.If you search this website carefully there are loads of different solutions ranging from welded parts to bits from handlebars on bikes...theres vast ammount of ingenuity. allright...great solution mike,
so i assume the construction won´t be that easy since I cannot buy all the parts in wallmart or anything like that.
But since you are in sweden perhaps you can help me out by telling me which parts you used, where did you get them and so on.
But of course if its too much trouble, I totally understand.
Since I'm not a great constructor, and I have to depend on a guy who has a workshop, It allows for little trial and error.
So any help with parts would be greatly appreciated. Just the thing with bolts and nuts, did you use the same mentioned in the plans or did you find replacements, easily available in sweden?
Its always cool to find people from the same place of residence
