Sheet Magnifier
« on: November 01, 2006, 05:42:51 AM »

Hello everyone,

I just started using a sheet magnifier on my monitor.  It changes my 6" monitor into 1'.  Usually used for reading maps or books, you can now use one to make your monitor easier to see.  The downside is distortion but if you only need to see for framing and not for focus then it's great.  Cost, about $12 CND.  Available at pretty much any business supplies store.  I can't find any really useful links online but if you just walk in to a Staples, then you'll find them next to the staplers and shears.  Hope it helps someone who needs a big screen without a big price.

Ian.

My google access is in the toilet right now or I would find a source for you. Anyhow it's called a lenticular lens or magnifier and shows up alot on surplus sites. Once saw 40" square one, good for boiling water and frying ants too.   Roll Eyes
