On ebay under steadicam there is a Cinema Prod. wireless remote package for sale. No motors but cables with lemo connectors onem. Was probally use with Hedon motors, but not sure.
i saw that.... im going to bid, cause i have some of the cp motors.... i wish they were the same as the heden, but the power factor (something like that) is different i think... the seitz uses heden, but the cp gear that i have all uses a cp motor that takes much more power. the seitz will burn up if you use the cp motors (ref. steadicamforum.com) so i hear....
Hi David, I'm not quite sure what your saying here. The Heden site says it's ok, but if you read elsewhere that is not the case I would contact Heden first. Anyhow the first line on this link does mention the WRC, and I did use it with Heden motors on the CP-65 camera. Hope you get the unit it does not seem to be going up in price to fast.
I don't know what to say. I do remeber the CP motors as being rather chunky and probally of older technology. They were after all capable of spinning those old Angenieux 10 to 1's in cold weather and God knows they had a lot of friction area on their sliding and rotating surfaces. So perhaps some of the newer controling amps were not able to provide sufficent current (amps) to the motors. Personally I never have been a fan of lemo plugs, they are compact and stay in place nicely, but have limited surface area on the pins thus limiting their current carrying capabilites and boy are they expensive!
