Well gang, finally got to upload some pics from my visit to the IBC 2006 exhibition. The event was reasonably digestable this year. It seemed to have had less visitors than last year. There were a few new products but nothing that hasn't already been shown at NAB. On the Steadicam front a new programable movable topstage was added as well as new battery packs that seemed to last many times longer than regular Anton Bauer packs. The base had been change to more compact style base. I tested this baby and boy! All I can say is sweet heavens!!! The G70 arm with the ultra2 sled and the gimbal was flowing like butter on hot toast. Nice!!! A really nice experice I must say.
I also tested the Alien Revolution, Segway, MK-V lite and Steadicam Flyer SE. all admirable rigs - of course for a price! All in all the show was okay but I really enjoyed the Segway. It was fantastic. Now that is a toy I would mind having for the hell of it Anyhow, enjoy the pics posted here. Sorry I wasn't at the booth when you said goodbye; if there wasn't much activity at the booth for five minutes, I was off... I can only entertain myself for so long and I thought you would be back on tuesday morning. I cried a little though
It was nice meeting you again, hanging out at the MK-V booth and talking about stuff!
Thanks Mikko. It was nice seeing you there too. Pascal, I understand. No problem. Hope you had a great time. The different trails we did together were cool. hope you liked the pics I took of you. Thanks for keeping my company.
