Size of the Manfrotto 679
« on: December 21, 2007, 10:43:09 AM »

Hey, i´ve got a question about the Manfrotto, which you need for building the sled.

My father has 3 different three-section monopods (i can get it), but no Manfrotto.

Can i use one of these, cause i´m too lazy to buy another (then i  would have 4 monopods)?
How long is the whole pole A, B and C ?
What´s the diameter of the 3 poles?

Thanks

I would think you would want a diameter in the 1.5 inch range.  And a 2 or 3 section monopod will give you plenty of adjustments.  I'm guessing without seeing pics.  I personally use and like a monopod, but there are other ways to achieve the same result. Smiley
