Yes it’s too big and too heavy, but there is a lesson here.
The design of the bones is very interesting. Using tubing as the stand offs would allow home stabilizer builders to create new shapes using only plate aluminum which is much easier to obtain then larger channel or tubes.

If this contraption is suppose to handle 10kg then I'm really sorry for the person who will buy it. First of all the weight will definately get you thinking if you're going to operate that far out like what he is doing. If the rig was not meant to handle that much weight but just what he is flying then there is no need for such a big arm. The thing is way oversized which does not compensate for the vest it is attached to. The straps and metal plate will mke your body ache. No padding anywhere around the crucial points. What were they thinking of God one knows. This is not the first they have done. It seems they have been trying with all kinds of design but they are missing lots of the crucial elements to why the Steadicam was made in the first place.
Well, I will definately wish them luck but if anybody buys that stuff they will have one helluva problem.

I think I've found my new screen-saver image!
I love the firm grasp he has on the post, but what is he grabbing with his right hand?

isn't that the biggest truck ever? Don't you need two trucks to transport that giant (I'm talking about the truck not the arm)? I don't know but if you ask me, this is a photoshopped image, How can a so thin guy hold such an arm?, i think someone is holding him at his back and saying he's compensating for something... This look smore like it

Yes, his grasp on the post is hilarous. Above the gimbal, no less. I think the other hand is grabbing a handle that's attached to the top arm segment, so you can reign in the arm and prevent it from toppling you forward (clearly, he needs it).
Oh! Even more hilarious is the price! 8,900 Euros.
