Which Book? Cody or Charles?
« on: July 15, 2006, 10:08:36 PM »

What book do everyone recommend? Which one follows a more step-by-step basis (I am not that good with machining). I have been looking at the medium budget copy of codys plans but are not sure.

Charles' books are theory (except for the Glidecam book). Perfect for a rig-builder like me with some experience, but for any kind of plans, you want Cody's books. Cody's Low-budget plans are quite good, and require NO machining, but Cody's Medium Budget plans require a good number of machined parts, so I'd recommend staying with the low budget book.
