Which screen for XL1
« on: June 24, 2006, 03:04:03 AM »

I am looking for a screen which I can use on a jib but can be taken off and mounted (preferably) on the hotshoe on my XL1. Does anyone have any recommendations were I can find a good cheap price? I am also in Australia but dont mind buying for overseas. Lastly how would I be able to mount a screen on the hotshoe and how are the screens powered?

Here is one way to avoid tying up your hotshoe in case you need it for a shotgun mic or light unless you have a double hotshoe mount.  http://dvinfo.net/canon/articles/article39.php

I have never purchased from this site, but I've read about them in other forums.

And one on Ebay.
