Steadicam - Trivia Competition!!!
« on: March 18, 2006, 11:41:12 AM »

Okay guys. It's trivia time. Smiley

Rules:

1. This competition is only geared towards HBS members. So, professional operators are not eligible to join. Sorry guys.

2. All questions must be correct in order for you to win the Grand prize. If no one gets all of the questions correct,  then I will go to the one that has the most correct answers. There are no second or third place winners.

3. If there are more than one participant with all of the same correct answers than I will narrow it down to one by introducing one 'sudden death' question which will determine the winner.

4. Don't put any clues here. Otherwise I will anull the competition.

This competition is in effect as of today; March 18, 2006 and will end April 18, 2006 at midnight CET

The Grand prize winner will recieve:

A\ Homebuilt - stabilizing a dream
B\ Homebuilt Stabilizers- modification tips
C\ Things to know before building a full rig
D\ My most recent upcoming book (no title yet)
E\ Cody's advance sled, arm and vest plans

That's right, you get the whole HBS library in one big bulk. Smiley

Read the questions carefully and then send in your answers to this c.king@telia.com . Write 'steadicam trivia competition' in the subject box of your e-amil before sending it. This way I'll know. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS HERE, PLEASE!!!!

Great idea Charles and a very nice reward for taking the time to research the answers for some lucky HBS'er!

I think I know what it "was intended to be" but don't think it was ever actually released under that guise. I'll be interested to know when the results come in.  Wink

Just remember guys. Once you send in your answers that's it. You cannot suddenly change your mind and send in another Wink Just to let you all know. Oh yeah, and no clues what so ever...

Thanks Kev. I think these questions are easy for any steadicam enthusiast. Smiley

Charles,

Since you just posted this there are two things that I would like to point out:

Question 1. Item B. Did you mean year or year(s).

Question 2. Item A.  You mean SkyCam not SkyMan right?

I would like to Congrat Tom Wills for winning the trivia comp. It was between Him and Alan Dague but Aln decided to hand over the win to Tom. I think it was very kind of him to do so and very sportman-like. Thank you Alan and to those that entered. Although it was a few.  Anyway, Congrats Tom Smiley

Sweet! I got question 11 wrong, simply because I had no clue and guessed, but all of my other questions were right.

Oh, and Alan, I can't thank you enough. I really want to say that if you ever need a favor, a part machined, a design made up, advice, anything, just ask. Smiley
