Hey everyone. I've been lurking here off and on for a while. Now I'm almost to the point in my business where I can use a stabilizer. I've always been one to try to make something if I can instead of buying commercially(much to my wife's dismay!!) I'm going to get Cody's books and give it the old college try. While I personally do not have any machining skills(or equipment), I know a guy that has helped me in my past endeavors at building telescopes(actually the mounts). Still doing a lot of reading here...and once I get the books I'm sure I'll have some questions. I'm not much of the engineer type so having this site as a reference is very helpfull. Thanks to everyone who has made this site what it is! Mark Slade
