Hi Wade,

Thanks for the suggestion.

LCD monitor was added to SmoothArm. It is an option to buy. The video posted was shot with a lcd monitor and low mode bracket on SmoothArm.

SmoothArm is very proud to offer SmoothArm operators the capability to shoot camera lense around 15cm(5.9 inch) above ground.  The operator has no need to bend their knees to do that. Smiley

Regards
Leigh

Leigh, just a thought on your product...

One of the major drawbacks that I see is that it has no capabilities for a monitor on the sled.

You should design a bracket that clips right to the top of the spring post (where the spring attaches at the top) for a monitor that would extend out in front of the operators point of view. You could run the wiring down the post, and over to the sled by way of the swing-arm....or just offer the bracket, and let the future operator decide how to engineer the signal (wirelessly would be the simplest, in this case).

A monitor bracket would be a cheap thing for you to make, and excellent addition for the rig, and would greatly increase the overall value of your product.

Just a thought....

Sorry that I can not tell you. That is confidential for any company you know. Do I ask you how much income you have earned each year? Of course, I won't ask you that question. Wink And I don't want to know that answer.

By the way, have you decided which arm to buy? g70 or pro? Smiley

Sounds very compagny leigh Cheesy I am not asking for your income, I am asking if there is anyone buying your sled, costumer reports, happy with it or not, or are we only gonna look at your clips.

I am not affraid to tell you how many days i shoot. Its between the 80 and 120 days a year. Do your counting i guess

Paul R Johnson in dvinfo forum mentioned to me that the low level shots can be done quite simply by holding the camera handle - you don't need the complexity of a stabiliser.

I have been thinking about his suggestion and I thought it might be worth to do some experiment.
Here comes my not so scientific experiment result recorded as a video.

Apple quick time format
File size around 25mb

Microsoft windows media player format
File size around 9mb

Equitment used
JVC GY-DV5000 camera
Fujion s20x6.4brm-sd lense
