Does anyone know of a readily accessible location to buy the steadi-style vest connector block?
I'm thinking of making my rig a hybrid of the MK3/MK3A style, combined with the adjustability of Cody's vest.
Thanks,
Russ

Russ Krook III, Amusement Manager ... but what I really want to do is direct. No stabilizer completed yet. Lousy videos up for viewing.

Cody, What software(s) do you use for your solids Modeling/Rendering? (The file on the previous page: arm9.jpg is amazing!) 3ds Max? Also, what Image Size do you normally use when you post? (Width Pixels X Height Pixels X Pixels/Inch) Michael

Thanks, Michael. I've been using Alias's Maya for about 4 years now. I've got piles upon piles of 3D rendered steadicam-related models and animations on my harddrive. I had to invest in something I felt was very good because I use it in my line of work quite often, not to mention my hobbies as well. I usually post pics no bigger than 450 pixels wide and not more than 500 tall. Based on a low-end 800 x 600 screen size for people with smaller monitors, I don't want the pics too big. If I render a hi-rez pic, I'll take it into photoshop, resize, and compress it for the web to keep the file size low.
Here's some I did for Charles a couple years back that I always thought were cool:

Cody,
You're good...you're VERY good.
You told me the H pixels X V Pixels however, you
didn't tell me the Pixels/Inch. (DPI) I would appreciate the info.

I'm not sure but there should be a plan in the tips section of the hbs website. Have you checked there?

I couldn't find anything there. I saw a metric one on this forum but I doubt that it would fit Cody's design. I would like to build Cody's female socket but I am hesitant to do that without having plans for a male counterpart.
