Modifications to original Cody Arm?
« on: February 28, 2006, 02:39:10 PM »

This topic may have been discussed before but I did a quick search and couldn't come up with much. I just received the first Camera Stabilizer Plans book to build a basic rig and I was wondering if anyone has adapted these plans to make the springs in the arm adjustable? If so please let me know, I am very interested in exploring that as an option before building this rig.

Thanks
Travis

It has been explored but was deemed to not practical with this design.

If you come up with something, let us know!

Travis,

I might be able to help if you could you make a rough sketch of the method that the spring attatches to the arm.
