Hey Charles what do you think about adding another category in this section called "Springs - everything you need to know about Springs for your Stabilizer" or something to that effect.

Charles I did a search and there are 355 posts dealing with Springs. It seems like a pretty hot topic and worthy of its own special area. Come on guys and please let Charles know what you think. Smiley

Thanks for this suggestion Michael. I'm sorry I missed this thread earlier, I was away for a week and I'm playing catch up now.

This idea, and a few others, are being discussed among the advisory board right now. I don't mean to sound vague it's just that there are several things we're considering and they need to be thought through. We'll let everybody know what gets decided.

Michael, there will not be a seperate forum for springs as you suggested. We feel it would make things more cumbersome in terms of work load for the administrator(s). We feel that the springs can be kept together with the rest of the arm forum.

One major reason for this is if we make a forum for springs then we ahve to make a forum for the gimbal, sled base yoke stage etc etc. See my point? That will make for  along list of forums split up for a group that can well be grouped together.

You will notice that under each of the homebuilt forums a better detail description is given. That's why it's important to post in the righful forums so as to make the search engine easier to navigate.

there's no need to discuss springs separate from the arm... Good decision, Charles.
