how to practice
« on: February 06, 2006, 06:46:58 PM »

Hello everyone, I just finished building a "cody" design stabilizer, does anybody have tried and true techniques on how to get the most out of the rig, or is it just trial and error (which I'm willing to do) Thanks Cody wherever you are.

Sincerely,

Brendan

There are a few videos out there, you could search for the 'EFP' video, or 'advanced steadicam techniques'. These could give help on what to do, or attend a steadicam workshop.

Failing the above, just try and learn from whatever you can, the trouble with this is that you can learn some very bad habits.

Thanks Trevor, I'll just strap the vest on and go--I like the idea about a stedicam workshop, we'll keep the eyes and ears open.

Thanks,
