I have read a lot of posts on here and even though I am no where close to building my own rig, I love reading and looking at how others have built theirs...so kudos to all of you. Its a lot of fun to be on this site.
I also have noticed that there are a lot of you that have done well in the steadicam field and I would love to here how some of you got into it and hear some advice on what you might have done differently.
Hi Tim, glad you are finding HBS a good source of information. If you look under new members 'introduce yourselves' you will find many discriptions of how people got started.
Remenber 'pitfalls' are building blocks, and although Im sure we would all wish to not have them, they teach us what not to do, and sometimes how to do something different.
Have fun.
