Now is the time of year that I try and set some goals for myself for the coming year. But,
NOT too many since I sometimes lapse on a task/goal if I get overwhelmed during the year. Maybe I can accomplish more tasks at the 100% level, as opposed to partially completing it and moving on to something else -- which happens just once in a while

.
I live for deadlines. When pressured to accomplish a task, the thing that moves me the best is a deadline. From this deadline I can schedule or make a timeframe on which to achieve the goal. Hence, the topic here of New Year’s Resolutions.
In the spirit of HBS, these are the goals that I would like to (no, I mean,
WILL!) accomplish in 2006:
1. Build ONE tool/rig (maybe more) to support video production: like a small portable dolly and track system; a skater-type dolly.
2. Produce a local music video that actually uses at least one of my new tools.
3. Produce a short video for the HBS Sponsored Project (anyone remember this topic?) using any/all of the home-built tools/rigs of mine or other local HBS talent.
Just 3 goals, but hopefully achievable for me with my busy work schedule. Now, I must print this out and post it so that I don’t forget.
Keep the ideas flowing, the tools & rigs building, and the conversation dynamic and enlightening.
Best regards for all HBS-ers in the new year!
