Global Weather Report

Well we’re right in the middle of an early winter.

We had snow last week that still hasn’t melted, and more on the way.

Snowing in Philadelphia at the moment. Looks like there might be some small accumulations at this rate.

On and off snow and rain here. Think I'll go skiing this weekend.

Sorry folks I’ve been really busy lately.

Well this has been the mildest winter in my memory.

4 times this year we have had thunderstorms in Jan. The highs have been in the 50s and 60s all winter.

Thank goodness because natural gas is at an all time high.

Went skiing last week in 3 feet of fresh powder.....some of the best pow I've sskiid....kind of like gracefully falling through an elevator filled with feathers.

Just in this last week, the Utah mountains have picked up another 2-3 feet of snow, and are expecting another 24-36 inches of snow by Thursday night. Fortunately it's all stayed in the mountains, and has been kind on us in the Salt Lake valley. Last year, several times I was out on my driveway at midnight shovelling 18+ inches of heavy snow. Don't want to do that this year.

If it weren't for the rain, I'd be in Seattle right now. One of the coolest places in the world.

I'm 80 miles north of Seattle--it was 62 on Dec 24.  That is real unusual here.

It got up to 66 degrees here today. It was incredibly strange getting up to walk to the bus stop at 6:00 and stepping outside to find that it's warmer outside than inside. Roll Eyes
