back mounted vest for sale
« on: December 14, 2005, 07:37:24 AM »

hi,
i thought i schould put the vest in here before i go to ebay. it is not really a homebuilt one but itīs not a mass production model either.
it consists of a glassfiber backpart with removable fome padding on the inside. the arm bracket is made of alloy but should be anodized or powdercoated for a better look.
the adjustability works the same way the klassen vest does.
it comes WITHOUT the socketblock on the pictures, but fits every standart socket block.

i do not want to make a price here, just give me an offer.

greetings, robert

You said it is not really homebuilt, right? Do you mean it, generically speaking? That's a  really nice back mount. What is the max weight it can handle without before it torques?

Hey Robert, how big of a person can it fit? I'm quite a large guy (6'2, 43" around waist) so I'm not so sure if I could fit in it. If I could though, I'd be quite interested.

hi, the vest is for big setups. on the img i carry a sled which weights about 20kg (8kg weightcage + fx1)

the vest was built by a proffessional, but the concept of a backmounted vest was not put to mass prod. in fact it is a design study.

you can put a pro rig with arri535 on that if you want to. it wont twist, the backpart seems indestructable. the adjustability is gread, but i prefer frontmounted vests because i think it is more exhausting to carry backmounted. (i know everybody says something different but this is my opinion) i had the same problem with the klassen vest. it fits great but i do not like it for operating.

greetings, robert

Sounds interesting. Give me an estimate on what you want for it. I may have an interested partner.

Yeah, I'm out. If it fits you well, It'd probably be quite a bit too small for me to even wear.

I wish you luck in selling it though! Smiley

hi,
it should fit you tom, because the shape is quite unisize and its smallest on me.

i was asked to do not sell it under 1000€ which is 1200us$
it is not cheap but its good. i think nobody would get anything better for less money.

greetings, robert
