Speaking of Sean Connery, does anyone remember his movie Zardoz?  All that I recall is something involving a fallac symbol as one of the pinnacle items in the movie.

Okay, does anyone know this one?

What movie and who said this?  "People will most definitely come."

I'm probably shooting in the dark:

Kevin Costner in Field of Dreams.

Very close.  James Earl Jones from that movie.

Here's an easy one.

"That's right--I've killed women and children.  Killed most everything that walks or crawls.  And now I'm here to kill you, Little Bill,
for what you did to Ned".

Unforgiven.  Clint Eastwood to Gene Hackman

I know you didn't cheat, Michael.  Like old movies?  What is this film and the dead actor.

A woman sits on the snow-covered steps of a church  holding a dead man.  A cop approaches.

Cop:  Did you know him?
Woman: Yes.
Cop: Who was he?
Woman:  He used to be a big shot".

Music soars and "The End"   Smiley
The Roaring Twenties.  Dead actor is James Cagney.

In a similar vein"

Man:  There's an old  saying, to the victor belong the spoils.
Man: There's another old saying, Senator, "Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining".
Identify film and actor speaking second line.

I will be identifying any of my posts that haven't been identified on Sunday.  I would suggest that any others be identified by their respective posters.  Then we can start over and have another 1 week contest.  I find this interesting because not only do we delve into a little film history, but we learn about each other's taste in movies.

John Vernon in The Outlaw Josey Wales--terrific picture.

Damn good, Wade.  Can you name this actor and film?

"What d'ya want me to do?  Paint ya a picture?  Don't ever ask me.  Long as you live, don't ever ask me again."

John Wayne in The Searchers.  A truly great film with one of his best performances.  If you haven't seen it, run to the video store.

And an easy one to kick off the week.

I gotta hand it to you, Mr. Souza, you got everything a man could want.

A tougher one.  Name film and the two actors.

Two cowboys are comparing firearms.

Cowboy:  Nice, awful nice.  Nothing more  beautiful than a good gun, unless its a Swiss watch or a woman from anywhere.  Ever had a good Swiss Watch?

The only thing that comes to mind is the Usual Suspects with Kevin Spacy.  Kiser Soze is the character from that movie.  I believe this is a cult favorite.

I give up.  I'll have wait to see what someone else guesses.  The only other Souza person is the famous band director, John Phillip Sousa.

I may have misspelled the name--it is pronounced "Sosa".
