was it cheech marin and dan martin?  or something like that....

i had no idea what "movie" the line was used in because i too had mainly heard their albums...

joe,

we are probably within 5-10 years of each other in age, but i am probably older.....  i was in high school in 72 .... you???

The "Badges" line comes from The Treasure of Sierra Madre.
Name the movie and the actor.

No, they stole it from Alphonso Bedoya who plays the Mexican bandit who says the line.  It is one of the most famous lines from that truly great film.
Here is the second one.
"When this is over, my friend, there will no need for me to come again".
