Keep It Cool

Before we type anything in these forums, we should all "drop our ego's" and respond in a prfessional, non-biased way. This is hard to do, and try as you may, no matter how hard you try to respond in a cool fashion, it's going to come across differently to the reader. Let's all understand that many times what is typed is not what is meant.

So, before you respond to a seemingly attackfull message, think about it. Don't propagate hatred by responding like such to these messages.. This is why I backed out of the New Gimbal Process thread. If you think that someone wrote something bad, it is better to ignore it, not respond to it, and move on. Even if you're trying to defend your idea or maintain your dignity, the underlying and more important thing is to uphold the friendly atmosphere we want to have on HBS. It is pride that starts wars. There is no need to have wars here on HBS. If you still feel that a message is genuinely bad, report it to the moderator, and then move on. Nothing good ever comes from a war of words.

So everyone do your part to keep this place a peaceful place to come for Stabilizing minded people. I promise from here forward to do mine.

Another thing you have to remember is that English is the second language for a lot of the people on this site. Sometimes their style of writing is a result of the translation.
