Charles Modification Tips book
« on: November 18, 2005, 12:34:20 PM »

Hi.
I will modify my full rig to fit my preferencies. The Modification Tips book can tell me how to do it (one, probably the first, thing i will do is to make a new vest, backmount instead of the front-mounted that i have now), since my rig is a homebuilt one and not a Glidecam one?
Or maybe the best thing is to buy the previous books first.

Tanx in advance.

Michele, just has the book entails, it explains one method of modifying the Glidecam sled or basically any low budget sled that doesn't have a way of adjusting the base for dynamic balance. I used the Glidecan as the example because it was a prime example, It doesn't show you how to modify a vest or arm. That wasn't the point of the book. It also shows pics of people who have modified their own Glidecam rigs which could others ideas on how to copy their methods. Don't worry, you have their blessings. These people have the Glidecam 16 and 20 are professionals and use these rigs in their line of work.

You should read the description under each book to give you an idea of what each entail. Hope this helps.
