I would also be interested. How much does it cost?

I got an idea.
If everyone gets one and gives two away pretty soon the whole world will have one.

And so on, and so on, and so on.

Just imaging the possibilities.

The world might be a lot better off in the search for the perfect rig rather than where it is going now. Grin

Is the efp video subject to copyright..?

If so, we would do well to not mention distribution on this forum, but instead move it off to private emails... and just make subtle reference here.

I was about to mention something to that extend Trevor. Thanks for that. Although there is no major harm in what you're doing but it might give the wrong impression to our overlookers - The steadicam guru and party themselves.

I think I'll like to maintain the integrity of this site as it as already won over the man himself.
As long has this doesn't turn out to be a nampster-kinda thing.

We could always write Tiffen and sugest they put it up for sale again..  (it was their/CP's video.. right?  ..who has copyright over it? [someone with a copy could check this..])
It seems to be in high demand right now.

Agreed if would be wonderful to have it available again, I would love a copy also, but in the interim maybe we could just keep the method of distribution 'under wraps'.. Wink

Maybe we could (as a group) arrange sales and distrabution of it...(just a thought)

According to Jerry Holiway it might just happen but they are looking for the master tape. Apparently it got lost during the transfer of the Steadicam ownership from CP to Tiffen. But dont be surprise if they will do a remake of it. Wink

If I do receive a copy, I would like to reimburse the sender for their trouble. However, I think this would be sketchy if any person made even a tiny profit from the sale and distribution of the video, especially from repeated sales. That just does not fly, in a legal context (or moral, perhaps). If someone can send me a copy, I would be willing to take on the responsibility of distribution (but let's not call it sales, since there will be no profit). Serious inquiries only, and perhaps only users of this forum. I could also do a DVD transfer, adding chapter markers and such.

Perhaps we could look for a balance between making new copies, and sharing existing copies between users. In any case, I volunteer myself to be the person for people to contact privately about the video. Of course, I would need a copy of it first!
