I am getting closer to completion of the Cody Stabilizer and now I am going on the hunt for springs - I am just wondering if anyone has a list of general store that carry the regular extension springs OR are they only available online?

Can't help you too much as I got mine from Century Springs online. But I do know that Home Dept carries Century springs very clearly marked as to load capacity. Not all places display them in that detail . Sorry I can't be more help.

Don't know where you're located, but Lowe's Hardware carries Century springs.

I am sort of stuck on which strength of springs to get since I don't have the LCD purchased yet and I don't have the plate for the attachment of the TV - I don't want to buy a set of 4 springs and then have to upgrade because of the extra weight!

Wait until you have the rest of your sled items before buying springs. Then you know what weight everything is.

OK, but that does suck. I want to get a 5 inch monitor I have seen for about 80.00 buck Canadian, the only problem is it is at one of these stores that does not give a refund, no matter what (unless it is broken). So I can't really test it with different options and batteries and such....Also I need to find a monitor for the 12 V battery (when I get one of those as well!)
