Cody - elbow question
« on: August 27, 2005, 08:05:55 PM »

I hope I am not giving too much away here when I ask questions Cody!

I have just finished the elbows.  Now, since they are going to be laying against each other and I wasn't sure in the manual, on the top and the bottom of the elbow pieces (when they are attached) are two abecs on the top, 2 abec on the bottom.  Is there supposed to be the four abec in between the two pieces as well?

Picture : (abecs are the bearings - obviously)

___abec____abec___

Like this?  With the 4 sandwiched in between?  Are they redundant because of the four outer bearings?  I was thinking it would save bearings without them because the top two and the bottom two could hold and swivel the elbow...what do you think?

Thanks

No there are not supposed to be four in the middle.

Thanks, that saves me the time and effort!  It also is good because I made a mistake on one of the holes and it is too big and the bearing drops through...I won't use that one and instead turn it over and use the others.
