learning from scratch
« on: August 22, 2005, 05:24:32 PM »

Hi there

I'll be receiving a Animagique 2p rig and have never use a 'steadicam' before.

I'm hoping the documentation that comes with the new rig is well writen and complete but have read that it's quite thin.

Please could someone point me in the right direction to learning how to balance the rig and set things up.

I'm going to have a DVX100 with a RedRockMicro 35mm Adapter and plan to use my Canon SLR still lenses.

Thanks in advance

If you can find the EFP training tape that will be a gold mine.  Also I believe Varizoom has some on-line training videos.  Not much help, but It's the best I can do right now. Smiley  Also, I think Tiffen sells training tapes for their rigs, but I may be wrong.

Silly me--look at the on-line training discussion in the operating forum. Tongue
