no thanks :

whoever took those photos was the one to get the plans from....

if they could have taken photos from directly overhead with graph paper underneath,
or better yet just traced the outline and also plotted where each wheel touched the ground...

on of the big differences between the real thing and the homebuilts is the real thing works with
the software.  in order to work with the software you must build it with the wheel spacing exactly the same....

That thing looks better from the bottom than from the top.  Wink Just kidding. But thanks.

Has anyone seen this? I think it is a descent enough tool,  Undecided but it is no Skater Mini  Wink . There is no laser pointer, only one level for camera head, but what it does not have in extra features it makes up in price. He has sold one for 599, 699, and now has it listed at 799. I believe that he is trying to find his market equilibrium.

Personally speaking he should pick a price and stick with it for a while. It makes him seem a bit shady.

did anyone get copies of the bottom of the skater that were shown in the post by "no thanks" before his posts were deleted???

i have searched all the forums and can not find them...

after a LONG break i am finally getting back to working on my skater and was hoping to have a look at the bottom of one before i finished drawing mine... i think it was lighter and less bulky than the design i have in my head, but i cant remember why....

if anyone has those photos, helllp please
thanks,
david

No problem David. Yeah and I agree there is not enough time in the day. I am thinking or planning to do my wheels like the RADIUS skater type dolly, very simple and effective design. I still have that peice of crap that I made. Although it works, it does have it's drawbacks. hard to get accurate curves and angles, but I digress.

Good luck with your skater. Smiley
