After reading all the comments and feedback everyone has been giving about my plans, I have revised the book to accommodate some of them. So everyone who bought a copy, you now should order another copy to see the updates. Ha - just kidding The changes were minor - I have added symbols to show different sized holes on pages 10 and 27. This helps differentiate from the new b&w version. I have removed page 32 - A NOTE ON BEARINGS. I had suggested using flanged bearings, but they are too expensive and prone to breaking. I do use them on my arm for the posts, but not in the joints. They'll definitely break in the joints. I updated the steel rectangular tube measurement on page 78. It reads 1-1/4" when it should be 1-1/2" I changed the hole size in the center of the base on page 10 from 3/4" to 1/2". I had suggested 3/4" because it allows the main shaft to fit snugly inside before welding. I deemed this step unnecessary, and as Bruce pointed out: "...drag my sorry ass back down to Home Depot to buy a stupid, @#$%!&, 3/4" drill bit?" Poor guy. Anyway, thanks again everyone.

For those that have bought the book, would it be possible for you to send an email or pdf file of the various hole symbols? Jason

For anyone who has emailed me recently and not gotten a reply, I want to say my email has been acting very funny. I know some of my emails have been returned to me and it looks like a problem with my server.
Hang in there Adam for your request - it got sent back to me.
And Michael, you had sent me a flood of emails at the same time I was sending you a flood of emails, so maybe you'll get some of mine and wonder what's going on.
Anyone else, please email me again.

My plans arrived this morning. The book is looks pretty well laid out ,and not to difficult to follow. Already brought the first piece for the sled(monopod),i'm quite excited, and can't wait to get started on it. Thanks for taking the time and effort to compile the plans, and $42 including shipping to UK was definately worth it. Andy

How long is most people's delivery times? I got an email from Cafepress on the 16th and it's been 10 days. I'll give it a few more days cause I definitely understand Post Office problems. Just curious what other peoples arrival times were. "The avalanche has already begun. It is too late for the pebbles to vote."

Hey! Hi all! This is my first post here but some of you may have already see me on DVInfo.net. The Plan took 10 working days to come here in Quebec, Canada from the time Cafe press told me that it was shipped. By the way, Cody, Awesome plans! They are so clear and well illustrated! They will be a great source of inspiration to build my own rig! Thanks! Jean-Philippe Archibald

I just received mine yesterday and can't wait to read through it about 4 times before I go and buy any materials. A good read to be sure. "The avalanche has already begun. It is too late for the pebbles to vote."
